Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Crest Agents collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your information. We keep the data we hold to a minimum and we do not sell it to anyone.

Who we are

Crest Agents ("we", "us") builds custom automation and AI agents for small and medium businesses. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

The data we collect and why

We collect personal data in a small number of situations:

  • When you contact us by email or through a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, company name and the contents of your message, so we can answer you.
  • When you book a call, our scheduling provider (Cal.com) collects your name, email address and the details of your booking so the meeting can be arranged.
  • When you visit this site, our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs, which helps keep the site secure and available.
  • When we contact you as part of business outreach, we may hold your name, work email, company and role, gathered from public professional sources.

Legal bases

Under the GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent or steps taken at your request, when you contact us or book a call.
  • Legitimate interest, when we reach out to a business that may benefit from our work, and to keep this site secure. You can object to this at any time and we will stop.
  • Legal obligation, where we are required to keep certain records for tax and administrative purposes.

Business outreach and opt-out

If we contact you about our services and you would rather we did not, reply to the message or email support@crestagents.com and we will remove your details and not contact you again. Every outreach message we send includes a way to opt out.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, who act as processors on our behalf:

  • Cal.com, for scheduling and booking calls.
  • Vercel, for hosting this website.
  • Our email provider, for receiving and replying to messages.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Client data we process on your behalf

When we build and run automation for a client, that work may process personal data belonging to the client's own contacts and customers. In those cases the client is the controller and we act as a processor under a separate data processing agreement. This privacy policy covers our own website and business contacts, not the data inside client systems.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within [12] months. Records tied to a client engagement are kept for the duration of the work and for as long as we are legally required to retain them afterwards.

Cookies

This site uses only what is needed to function. The Cal.com booking window may set cookies when you open it, in order to manage your booking. If we add analytics in future, we will use a privacy-friendly, cookieless option or ask for your consent first.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email support@crestagents.com and we will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business grows or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
